Automatic Dependency Detection

• Get suggestions for dependent files when creating Deployment Requests. This new feature tells you that a Visualforce page depends on a related Apex controller, or a validation rule depends on a custom field, and much more.

Previously, you had to know or guess those dependencies and add them manually, which was a common cause for validation errors. By automating the selections, creating deployments in Blue Canvas becomes much easier.

Dependencies are shown in the Required tab at the bottom of the deployment create page. Use the Related tab to find relationships that point the other direction. Note that related files only appear if they are new or modified.
