Notifications on Slack

Blue Canvas integrates with Slack to notify you when certain events happen in the application. The notification messages are interactive and link directly to the related deployment request, so you can quickly respond.

To set up your Slack integration, go to Settings > Notifications > Slack and click on Enable. Follow the instructions to create an Incoming Webhook on Slack and paste the URL into the configuration form. Click Save to complete the setup process.

Create a new Deployment Request to test the integration. If everything works, you should receive a message in your Slack channel that a new deployment was added.
